Video Transcript: Empowering Clients | Advancing Justice
Empowering clients and advancing justice means, first we listen to our clients and we give them the strength and the confidence to hold an employer accountable for violating their rights. To raise the complaint about how those rights are being violated. We give them a voice in the process, whether it’s a voice initially to their employer, or ultimately a voice in the legal system to hold that employer accountable. And that’s what advancing justice is all about. Advancing justice is achieving something that allows our client to move past a traumatic termination, a violation of their rights in the workplace, with some of their dignity restored. And with real compensation for the harm that they’ve suffered. That’s justice. It’s holding an employer accountable and that’s what we’re committed to doing for each one of our clients.

About Toni Halleen
Toni has practiced employment law since graduating from law school in 1988. The field appeals to her because in our society, our jobs can be core to our identity and well-being. Even in her early years in the 70s and 80s, Toni remembers being drawn to ideals of justice, fairness, and social equality in attending anti-discrimination marches, participating in school activism, and admiring the political satire of the Smothers Brothers (and others).
