As attorneys, we spend time immersed in our clients’ cases, so when the bright lights of peer recognition shine on us, we’re admittedly dazzled and honored. But we’re very grateful for the acknowledgment of our efforts from colleagues whose own standards and values we admire.
We are pleased to announce that seven out of ten lawyers in our firm—70% overall—have had their accomplishments and leadership recognized by their peers through the Super Lawyers® and Rising Star® process. Please join us in congratulating:
Lawrence P. Schaefer, Super Lawyer—Owner and President
Michelle Dye Neumann, Super Lawyer—Senior Attorney
Bryce M. Miller, Rising Star—Senior Attorney
Darren M. Sharp, Rising Star—Senior Attorney
Phillip M. Kitzer, Rising Star—Senior Attorney
Brian T. Rochel, Rising Star—Attorney
Peter G. Christian, Rising Star—Attorney
Schaefer Halleen represents victims of illegal conduct by corporate or government entities. Individuals who have been wronged often cannot find an effective advocate, and thus are left with no real voice in the legal system. Once we determine that we can effectively prosecute their claims, we give our clients this voice.
Recipients of the Super Lawyer and Rising Star awards are selected through Super Lawyers magazine’s patented, three-step, annual 12-indicator evaluation process of peer nominations, independent research, and peer evaluations. Up to five percent of the total lawyers in the state are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers magazine. A Rising Star candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers with those qualifiers are selected for recognition.
