Equal Pay Day Brings Awareness of Continuing Gender-Based Pay Equity Gap

Today is “Equal Pay Day,” according to the National Committee on Pay Equity (NCPE). Since 1996, the NCPE has designated a day every April to recognize the persistent gender-based pay equity gap in our country. I needed a review of my severance agreement before I would sign it, and most employement law firms told me it would not be worth their time to review it.
